Laying in your bed comfortable while watching a movie. All of a sudden there is a giant fat black spider crawling on your sheet, the biggest spider you have ever seen! Sounds like a worst case scenario! And it happened to me.
As a person who is not scared of insects or even savage monkeys and monitor lizards... for some reason it made me go mad! Did arachnophobia suddenly occur in my life or should women be scared of either mice or spiders? May be it is some stupid natural anxiety we need in order to make men feel good for "rescuing" us.
Unfortunately there was no man around and even the most courageous housemate was petrified by the unbelievable size of the spider. But we baned the thought of just smashing it and washing my blanked. We bravely caught it in a glass and I carried it all the way across the street - may be it gets hit by a car...
But we can get along without male protection very well. We just have to try or in first place ban stupid anxieties!

Do women need a phobia?

Welcome to London
51° 30' N, 0° 8'W - a zero median that was defining universal time for an era. Welcome to London, the city that has not only been influencing time in this world!
Nevertheless time has always been an important issue in London. No one seems to have it. Might be due to the "tube" - the oldest underground in the world and therefore not the quickest and most reliable transportation. Delays and breakdowns are part of the daily agenda and so are its tremendously expensive fares.
But not only transportation is horrendous. First-class living space costs 36.800 € per square meter and even 4th-class living space is extremely pricey. The price you have to pay for the 3rd most expensive city in the world!
But still it has a mysterious magic that attracts loads of people every year. And everybody is warmly welcome. Actually everybody seems to loves you no matter where you're from. In the supermarket it is not unlikely to get approached with "love", "sweetheart" or "my dear" by the cashier. Who said English people are not sincere?
But most of all London is exciting! The other day, I happened to be at the birthday party of Oscar crowned actor Kevin Spacey. Well, living door to door with a queen, Claudia Schiffer, Madonna and Jude Law you might end up meeting them somewhere... There is more to go then just Kevin Spacey!
